As a native of Pennsylvania, born in the "groundhog" town of Punxsutawney, Barbara worked for 17 years in bank management as a Branch Manager and Assistant Vice President in the Western Pennsylvania town of Indiana, hometown of Jimmy Stewart.
In 1999, she relocated to the Orlando area and began her career in real estate, first working for a developer in the sale of new Palm Harbor manufactured homes, and then selling new home construction in High Vista of Ridgewood Lakes, Davenport, until completion of the community.
In 2002, she began selling general real estate, always a top producer, and acquired a certification (Certified Career Development Specialist) in real estate training and development, providing new agent classes and training. Thereafter, in January, 2009 she succeeded in obtaining her Broker's License and has since worked as a Broker Associate for several real estate companies. As a bonus, Barbara has a license as a Notary Public in the State of Florida for the convenience of our customers.
Going forward in 2020, Barbara is now the Broker and Owner of Whippet Properties of Florida and she looks forward to tremendous success and continued affiliation with top producing agents. In 2022 she became certified in Probate Real Estate (Certified Probate Real Estate Advisor) and will work with local Probate Attorneys to assist in the successful completion of probate real estate transactions.
Both Barbara and Allen live in Tampa, Florida near the Westchase and Citrus Park areas.
With any spare time, she enjoys movies, reading books, traveling on land and sea, her dog, Gracie, and most of all . . . . her blended family: 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren! You can read more about Barbara in "BARBARA's BLOG" titled, "Just A Small Town Pennsylvania Girl." You can reach Barbara at 407-491-3816 or BarbaraFlaHomes@aol.com
Allen Doeringer, husband of Barbara, Broker and Owner of the company, is both a Notary Public and a Florida Licensed Real Estate Agent, with 20 years of experience in general real estate and new home construction. He is now operating as the Marketing Director and Administrative Assistant for Whippet Properties of Florida. He is a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, originally from the Cleveland, Ohio area (Parma, Parma Heights) but also lived in Atlanta, GA for 20 years. He worked 30 years in telecommunications with Ohio Bell Telephone Co. and Southern Bell Telephone Co. He retired with Bell South Telecommunications.
Allen began his career in real estate after relocating to the Orlando area in 1998, first working for a developer of manufactured homes, then selling new construction homes in a senior golf course community for a local builder. After selling out of new homes, Allen created his own resale website to continue servicing the same community for those who chose to sell and move to another area. He was always a top producer and his knowledge of the home construction, floor plans, and deed restrictions were a bonus for all of his customers.
Still an avid Cleveland Browns fan, Allen loves to watch football, read books, enjoy movies and travel anywhere, anytime, whether by plane, train, cruise ship or car. He loves classic cars, and has been the proud owner of a 1973 Corvette and 1965 Cobra.
With a blended family, he now has 4 children, 10 grandchildren (only one being a boy) and 3 great-grandchilden (finally one more boy!) He loves animals, expecially dogs and has owned many, the last two passing away recently after 17 years of love and devotion. But now he has little Gracie to love, a Yorkie-Poo. Allen gives full dedication to everything he does, whether it be his family or his work. You can reach Allen at 407-421-8761 or Allendoe@aol.com.

David Toro is originally from New York and worked as an IT manager for Fortune 500 companies in New York City before relocating to Florida in 1998. He became a full-time realtor in 2004 and shortly thereafter concentrated in the commercial real estate market.
David has a wide range of experience in both residential and commercial real estate transactions. He has resided in Odessa, near Tampa, for many years and knows the market area and home values very well in surrounding Tampa Bay. Not only is David an expert in real estate, but he is a very talented musician and singer performing regularly in various Tampa area venues. He has performed with his guitar at many local establishments such as Hard Rock Casino, Wild Rover Brewing Company, and Skipper's Smokehouse, just to name a few, and he excels in that as much as in finding properties. We often sponsor events with David performing so check out our Whippet Facebook page for updates.
David's other interests include martial arts, watching the New York Yankees play, and spending time with his daughter, Natalie and his pet chameleon, Kevin. We are proud to have him on our team!
